Haus of Gloi Honeybelle perfume oil |
Honeybelle's description lists the notes as "A blooming orange orchard, orange blossom honey, soft white tea and creamy white amber." Opening the bottle, I am immediately punched in the face with a fist of amber. Solid, clear amber. No blooming orange blossoms, no soft white tea, no creamy amber note - just hard, clear amber. I checked the label to ensure it said Honeybelle, checked the website to make sure I ordered the right thing, and opened the bottle again - just more amber.
I dabbed the tiniest bit onto my skin and rubbed it in and let it dry to see if I got any more notes out of it. The drydown scent is that of the perfume aisle at Walmart - cheap perfumes mixed with that of old ladies and more amber. I took a shower.
Pros:
- Amber note is present.
Cons:
- All other notes were absent.
