Empties - Mini Madness

I get a lot of deluxe samples - from my subscription boxes, promo codes, and from Sephora's rewards program. I've been making a more conscious effort to use them up, both to just cycle through products, and to see if there's anything worth picking up in a full size! Since I'm trying to record my empties throughout the year, I thought it would be fun to keep track of all of the minis I go through as well! These are minis that I finished up at the end of last 2016.

Mini garbage! So cute!
Pixi Glow Tonic - I had been wanting to try this for a while, and I finally broke down and got a mini from Target. I have a bunch of exfoliators in my stash, but I used this for a couple of weeks to see if I liked it. This was gentle on my skin, but I didn't see too much change in texture. I might give it another try, simply because Target has some good sales and coupons that make the purchase worthwhile.

Fresh Rose Face Mask - I can't tell you how many of these I have laying around - and that's AFTER I gave a few away! It seems like every Sephora promo code for Fresh products includes this mask. It was also apart of the Beauty Insider birthday gift last year! I will gladly use any minis I get, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy the full size of this mask. It smells like fresh roses, and imparts some brightness to my skin, but I don't feel like it does enough to justify buying a full tub.

Glamglow Supermud Mask - I hate how expensive this is, because I LOVE it!!! I go out of my way to grab samples of it when I can, because I cannot justify $69 for mud. Thankfully, Sephora does 100 point perks of this mask relatively regularly, so I get my fix. Hopefully I'll come across a few more minis throughout the year.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel - I'm going to be honest, this is just a regular brow gel. After finishing this, I purchased an Essence gel because I can't imagine shelling out $22 for a brow gel. I liked using this while it lasted, and the packaging is super nice...but it's a brow gel. If I used too much my brows got crunchy, but using the right amount kept them in place. Also, it doesn't smell too great, so I won't be purchasing.

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask - I believe I got this in a Target beauty box. I loved this mask, and have since bought a full size, since the price isn't too terrible ($24 for 70 mL) and Target has sales and coupons on beauty products all the time. This mask is a light gel with a fresh scent, and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. It dries down and doesn't fee overly tacky or sticky. In the morning, my skin is refreshed and super moisturized. A little goes a long way, though I do like to load it on sometimes.

belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb - Another Asian beauty product! I got this belif mini in Sephora Play!, if I recall correctly. I really liked this moisturizer - gel creams are my favorite! The full size price is a little steep ($38/50 mL) but I'm considering getting it if I don't love any of the other moisturizers I have waiting in the wings. I don't think this could dethrone Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel as my Holy Grail moisturizer, but I did really like it.
