2017 Favorites - New Acquisitions

This is the second post on my favorites of 2017 - items that were new to me over the year! You can find the first post on my favorite new releases of the year here. I like highlighting "old" favorites, as sometimes they get forgotten after the initial hype. A lot of these products I bought due to seeing positive reviews from others, and I'm happy to say I wound up loving them just as much!

September 2017 Favorites!

Every month I try to focus on the products I enjoyed using the most, whether they be new acquisitions or old standbys. I don't like the idea of featuring products released that month and that are never heard about again - it doesn't feel like a true "favorite" to me. This month I have a few newer items, but I've really grown to like them - and I still find myself reaching for them even now (at the end of October when this post should have been done weeks ago, shhhh!)

July Sephora Play! Box

I'm starting to really look forward to this each month! July's theme is "effortless" - Sephora's choice of "warm weather essentials." This month had two separate boxes, one for dry/normal skin and one for oily/combination skin. I received the oily/combo skin box. The dry/normal box has a Benefit Hoola liquid, a regular First Aid Beauty cleanser, and the regular Smashbox Photo Finish primer. All of the other products are the same between the two boxes.
