Tryst is listed as a red-fuchsia with a satin finish. The shade is a bright, hot pink coral with warm undertones. Tryst comes in the cream formula, and is a bit drier than Wonderland. The formula still feels rich, though it is a bit stiffer on application (although it did not skip or drag) and is highly pigmented with true color on one swipe. There is no scent to the lipstick, which is a plus for those sensitive to scents! I wore this with and without a lip liner, and had no bleeding or feathering either way. The lipstick was not drying, but it was not moisturizing. I don't think it needs to be paired with a lip primer for regular wear, but if you have dry lips, you may want to give it a try. The formula has little slip to it.
I did notice a bit of transfer onto a cup, which was expected due to the cream formula. There was some wearing off on the inside of the lip while eating, but reapplication was easy over what lipstick was already on the lips. No stain was left behind - everything came off easily with a makeup wipe.
Although it isn't as creamy as Wonderland, Tryst has quickly become a favorite of mine. The bright shade is perfect for summer!
Pros:
- Highly pigmented
- Unscented
- No bleeding or feathering
Cons:
- Transfers
- Slightly stiffer formula
