August Empties

Every time I tell myself I'm going to do an empties post, I hoard a bunch of garbage and then I forget. When I have way too much garbage, I get fed up and toss it out instead of doing a quick post. Thankfully, I caught myself at the beginning of this month! Took a photo, tossed everything out, and started a new bag for empties. Here's all the stuff I finished up in August!

Haus of Gloi First Blush Pumpkin Butter - I am obsessed with this scent and wear it through spring and summer. The HoG Pumpkin Butter formula is a bit heavier than I'd like, but once I really work it in, it makes my skin feel very hydrated and soft. It's a better formula for the winter for me, when it's drier out.

Neogen Dermalogica Green Tea Real Fresh Foam Cleanser - This lasted me a really long time! I did use other cleansers, but this was my main nightly cleanser when I wasn't showering at night. I loved the pump bottle - I was even able to get most of the liquid out of the bottom of the pacakage where the floating green tea leaves are. The cleanser itself did not feel like it stripped my skin, and it was able to get my oil cleanser and leftover makeup off no problem. It's a little pricy at $19, but since it lasted me a good 8 months, I could see myself repurchasing in the future.

Banila Clean It Zero - My all time favorite balm cleanser! This was a super jumbo tub that I got for Christmas, and it lasted me a good long time! The only issue I have with this is actually getting the product - it's annoying to have to open the jar and scoop out product, though it does get ALL of my stubborn eye makeup off without irritating my eyes. This is either my second or third jar of Clean It Zero, can't remember which. I've tried a couple of other balm cleansers in mini form from other brands, but none measure up to this.

Savor Sugar Scrub Creme Fraiche Whipped Soap in Creme Brûlée - I've used Savor whipped soap before, but never this soap/scrub hybrid. I LOVED it! It was soft and fluffy, with larger grains for scrubbing. The scent was phenomenal too - it smelled good enough to eat! I would 100% repurchase this, it helps that Savor has a great turnaround time and variety of flavors to boot.

Tosowoong Pure Green Tea and Pure Propolis sheet masks - These are my go to, never fail sheet masks. Sure, the fabric is thicker and the fit is a bit wide, but my skin looks great after using one each and every time.

My Beauty Diary Apple Polyphenol sheet mask - Another standby mask for me! I love these when my skin is about to break out, I find that my skin is much calmer the next morning after use. Also, it has a fresh apple scent! These are a bit too drippy for my liking, though.

KinGirls Black Currant & Vanilla Extract sheet mask* - This was a black mask for use at night. This one had you rinse off the essence which was different for me - I usually pat everything in. The fit and clinginess of this mask were really good. I have another mask that I am saving for a night where I really need a brightness lift.

UniTouch Miss O Good Night sheet mask* - Another black mask! The fit and the fabric on this one were really good as well. The directions on this one say to use it as your last step, and it definitely didn't lock in enough moisture for my liking. I have another one to use, I want to see how my skin is after when using a moisturizer paired with this.

* These masks were gifted to me by Beautibi for review purposes.
