Empties - Mini Madness

I really need to do empties posts more often! These are all my mini and deluxe sample empties from January through April. I get a lot of minis from Sephora Play!, promo codes, coupons, and point perks. I love minis, and I go through a lot of them!
This is not the nicest photo, I am sorry.
Urban Decay All Nighter - I got this in December's Sephora Play! box. I'm fonder of De-Slick spray, but All Nighter is by no means bad. I definitely notice that my foundation does not separate as quickly when I use this, but it doesn't offer the oil control I really need.

Ouai Treatment Masque - I LOVED this! Though it felt like the tube was deceptively large - it really only seemed half full. This came in from the Play! box as well. I loved this so much, I bought a full sized box of 8 treatments. It made my hair soft and shiny, and it smells lovely. I definitely recommend getting a sample to try if you can! (FYI I have very fine, limp hair.)

Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence - Another product I really loved! I wish I had stopped using this halfway so I could travel with it, because it can't really be refilled. I did buy a full size of this because my skin responded really well to it. I mostly use it right after cleansing in the morning. I got a full size of this for $14 with Amazon Prime!

Skin Inc. Pure Revival Peel  - I love skincare minis because it gives me a chance to try expensive products that may or may not be good. This one was not so good - this is a physical skin peel that claims to "gently slough away dead skin cells." The product itself pills up when applied to the skin and rubbed, so I don't doubt that it did remove some dead skin, but it feels kind of deceptive to me. Also, I don't need to pay $55 for a physical exfoliator - I already have my Foreo. I won't be purchasing this.

La Mer The Eye Balm Intense - I got this as a sample from Nordstrom. A full size is $200. It's just an eye cream...no. Not happening.

L'Occitane Shea Cleansing Oil - This was okay. It removed most of my makeup, not my stubborn eyeliner, but it got most of the face stuff off. It didn't irritate my skin, and it washed away cleanly wen paired with a second cleanser. I won't be purchasing a full size because I like an oil cleanser that can deal with my eye makeup. I believe this and the other L'Occitane minis here were from a 500 point Sephora perk.

L'Occitane Amande Shower Oil - This was super convenient for taking in my gym bag! Smells wonderful and got me clean and did not leave a greasy residue. A full size is between $25-41, so I'll be passing on that.

L'Occitane Amande Supple Skin Oil - Another gym bag goodie. This was definitely hydrating, but it took longer to sink in than I'd like. The scent was lovely, though - a light, sweet almond. I have faster drying body oils that are NOT $46, so I'll be sticking with those.

Shiseido Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Eye Concentrate - Another expensive eye cream, although this one is at least palatable at $67. This was nice, it felt hydrating and sank in nicely. I used it at night, because it was a little too heavy to use under makeup. The price tag is still a little too rich for my blood in terms of an eye cream, so a full size is not in my future.

Lancôme Hypnose Drama - I have had many minis of this over the years - this one came from a Play! box. Every time, I am so torn - my lashes look fantastic, but the mascara flakes like crazy! Minis come up all the time so I never feel the need to drop $27.50 on a full size, especially when it flakes on me.

Urban Decay Perversion - I love mascara minis! This one wasn't too bad - the formula is a little wet for my taste, and the brush a little pine tree like, but it made my lashes more voluminous and very, very black. A travel size runs $10, so I would actually consider it. A full size is $22.

Kat von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper - This is my favorite black liquid liner. It dries matte, is very black, and the calligraphy brush tip is super precise. I bought my second full size after this mini ran out. This came in Sephora Play! and was the second time I've gotten it, which is annoying, but at least it's something I like!

Youth to the People Age Prevention Superfood Cream - Another hit from Sephora Play! This moisturizer was lightweight and sank in quickly, all things I look for. And it has one of my favorite (possibly gimmicky) ingredients, green tea! A full size is $48 and there are other moisturizers I like more, but if I can get more samples of this, I definitely will! Also, the baby glass jar is super cute.

Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm - More expensive eye cream, this time from Sephora Play! I really, really liked this - it lasted ages, meaning a little went a long way! It was very moisturizing without being too heavy or greasy, though I still only used it at night. Thankfully, I had another mini pot in my stash, so I don't have to break the bank on an eye cream! ($68 for a full size...)

The Estée Edit Dissolve The Drama 2-in-1 Makeup Remover + Cleanser - Nope, I did not like this. I tried it as an oil cleanser, as a 2-in-1...neither method took my makeup off to my satisfaction. I won't be buying this.

Glamglow Supermud Mask - I had one of these in my last mini madness post, and my feelings are the same - I love this, but I will not pay $69 for mud. I will pick up minis whenever I can, be it promo codes or point perks, but I will not pay for it! I even put it on my Christmas list and didn't get it...the price really is ridiculous. But it works soooo well...maybe they'll make a mini tub one day.

...phew! A ton of stuff, and yet my sample hoard is only marginally smaller. I'll try to get these done more often than seasonally - I do like seeing how much stuff I use, though I hate having garbage pile up under my vanity!
