Drugstore Face Haul

I decided to pick up some drugstore face products while at Ulta the other day! I've heard a ton of great things about these products, so I wanted to check them out for myself.

Here's what I picked up:
  • L'Oreal True Match foundation in N1
  • L'Oreal Magic Lumi primer
  • Maybelline Fit Me foundation in 110 Porcelain
  • Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 10 Light
I haven't gotten a chance to really test these out yet, but here are some swatches:

I'm excited to give these a shot! I've heard really great things about both foundations and the concealer, and the primer looks really interesting. I'm looking forward to see how it compares to mixing in Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl into my foundation.

  1. Replies
    1. I heard it's close to the consistency of NARS Radiant Creamy, which is my favorite!

  2. I like the Fit me concealer; I ended up with a shade too light but I really want to go back and get Deep (come to think of it I might just get Medium again, it was fantastic for highlighting!).

The True Match is pretty nice foundation; it's usually my go-to when I know I'm going to be wearing foundation for only a few hours (nothing, but nothing lasts any longer than me; I had a terribly traumatic foundation experience during graduation *shudder*)

Can't wait to hear your thoughts on everything!

    1. I'm trying to finish up a bottle of a Maybelline I have now before I start using these, I have so many foundations now! I should do a foundation roundup...

  3. The Magic Lumi primer is so great, I love using it under foundation, but you can also use it mixed in with foundation as well.

I like True Match-I usually use True Match Lumi, but the original is also great. :)

Unfortunately, I always have bad skin reactions to Maybelline foundation and concealers. :/

    1. I have a Maybelline I'm using now that I seem to do okay with, so I'm excited to try the Fit Me, I've heard good things!

I was torn between the True Match and True Match Lumi, but I tend to be more oily so I think maybe I'll try True Match Lumi in the fall/winter.
